About the event
As part of the network's mission to tackle the UK funding gap for female-led UK businesses, Women Angels of the North have launched a Women Angels Education Hub in partnership with the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) as part of the national Women Backing Women campaign.
The Women Angels Education Hub offers a full free 12-hour Women Angels Investor Education Programme, which consists of workshops, presentations, interactive sessions and meeting angel investors who are actively investing here in the North. The first 12 hour programme was delivered at the back end of 2022 and received great feedback from participants, showcasing how accessible angel investing can be, giving women the tools and support to learn more about the investing strategy and also learn how accessible angel investing can be for all!
Following our launch event, virtual workshops will be taking place every 2 weeks to deepen your understanding of how to complete proper due diligence on a deal and to understand the legal aspects and tax reliefs.
Our second workshop will cover ‘What makes a great team’ and will be taking place on Thursday 30th March, 10-11am.
